Sofa Faipari Kft. is the legal successor of Somogyvári Szolg. Bt., and has been a trusted partner in the industrial timber and packaging materials market for more than three decades. Across our two sites — in Tata and Bakonybánk — a team of 45 specialists works to deliver flexible, fast, and high-quality solutions to every client.

OUR SITES
Modern infrastructure across two locations
Our central site in Tata spans 6,200 m² with 1,200 m² of covered production hall. In Bakonybánk, production takes place across 10,000 m² with an additional 1,400 m² of covered hall space. Both locations are equipped for large-scale serial production as well as fully custom orders.
Bakonybánki telephely: 10 000 m²-en, 1 400 m² fedett csarnokban folyamatos géppark fejlesztés mellett történik a termelés.
Mindkét helyszín kiépítettsége, felszereltsége lehetővé teszi a nagysorozatú és az egyedi, cégekre szabott gyártást egyaránt.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Complete timber and packaging solutions
Our core business is the manufacture of pallets, custom crates, overseas shipping constructions, and other specialised wooden packaging materials, complemented by the distribution of plastic pallets. We also trade in construction and packaging sawn timber. Our machinery — including an automated pallet production line, robotic equipment, and a unit load cutter — enables us to produce pallets and timber-based packaging of any type and size. Our current capacity for standard pallets is 1,000 units per day.
Gépparkunk (automata raklapgyártó sor, robotizált berendezések és rakatvágók) lehetővé teszik bármilyen típusú és méretű raklap, valamint fa alapú csomagolóanyagok előállítását. Jelenlegi kapacitásunk standard méretű raklapokból 1 400 db/nap.
Tevékenységünk jelenleg már kiegészült műanyag raklapok forgalmazásával is.
Természetesen a faipari kereskedelmi tevékenységeinkbe tartozik még építkezési- és csomagolási célú fűrészáru nagykereskedelme is.
QUALITY & CERTIFICATION
ISPM 15 heat treatment and ISO 9001 certified
Since 2009, our drying chamber has been equipped with monitoring instruments, allowing us to heat-treat and dry products in accordance with ISPM 15 requirements upon request — an essential capability for packaging materials used in international shipments. In 2022, we further upgraded the system with a high-capacity Nardi drying and heat-treatment unit. In 2020, we obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, ensuring regular auditing of our processes and product quality.

Founded on the legacy of a sole trader active since 1986, Somogyvári Szolg. Bt. was established in 1996 and has since grown into Sofa Faipari Kft. Over the years, reinvesting earnings back into the business has driven steady expansion of our sites and machinery — a philosophy that continues to guide us today.
Az 1996-ban alapított családi vállalkozás a Somogyvári Szolgáltató Bt.az elmúlt években Sofa Faipari Kft.-vé nőtte ki magát.

Flexibility — our greatest strength
Rather than competing solely on volume, we focus on rapidly fulfilling small-batch and custom orders — our most competitive market niche. That said, our machinery is equally capable of high-volume production, giving us full flexibility to adapt to our customers' needs. Because each vertical level of our operations is independently profitable, our market risk is reduced — and we have never had to make a single redundancy.
Mivel képesek vagyunk kisszériás és egyedi igények gyors, precíz kiszolgálására, ezen piaci rés kiaknázását tartjuk legversenyképesebb piaci erényünknek, erősségünknek.
Gépparkunk ugyanakkor tömeggyártásra is alkalmas, így teljes rugalmassággal tudunk alkalmazkodni vevőink bármilyen elvárásaihoz. Mivel az egyes vertikális szintek önállóan is jövedelemtermelők, a piaci kockázat is mérséklődik – alkalmazottat eddig soha nem kellett elküldeni, folyamatosan fejlődésen ment keresztül a cég az elmúlt több mint 10 éven át.
